"Pandemic Blues depicts what everyone is feeling and doing during the coronavirus crisis. As you can see, the main subject represents our overall state last year when COVID-19 took over the world. The man's attire (suit + boxers) represents those who were laid off by their companies and were unemployed because of the pandemic. The clown makeup shows that some of us feel "clowned," whether it'd be because of the government or a past lover. The explosion represents our anxiety since the pandemic really affected our mental health. We relied mostly on our phones and some resulted in drinking to pass the time during the quarantine.

The things that are scattered on the floor represent the things that entertained us while we're in quarantine. Some discovered their love for plants, and others found refuge in art, games, and music. The newspaper represents the daily updates that we receive regarding the status of COVID-19 in the country. This is basically a summary of my struggles and rollercoaster of emotions in 2020. It was one of the worst years but at least we survived."
